I spent my time in New York exploring art and architecture, and this apartment served as the ideal base: quietly situated in a charming, characterful neighbourhood with excellent restaurants and a warm, welcoming local community, while still offering easy and direct access to Manhattan's cultural institutions and landmarks. Each return to Greenpoint brought a noticeable slowing of pace - a welcome counterpoint to the city's intensity. The apartment is impeccably maintained, exceptionally clean, and equipped throughout with high-quality essentials. The atmosphere in the apartment was truly special. I felt entirely at ease. Everyone who stayed at the airbnb during the 2 months felt right at home and really enjoyed their stay.
The ferry to Manhattan is only a 10 minute walk away, so overall the daily commute was pretty doable. The views from the ferry are all worth it!

If you need to travel to Manhattan, it is a short ferry-ride, which is a lot of fun. The hosts were very helpful, responsive and friendly. I would definitely stay again in the future!
